My remaster notes:
The gig needs to be recut. The first track titled "The Universe is a Haunted House" is actually two songs, "Sine Waves" and "The Last Rites of Spring." At about 6:55 when John says "Electricity has made angels of us all" is where the latter track begins. Please slice it in two there. The track itself cuts out into silence around there while the next track, "A Warning from the Sun," cuts in - if you could fade the two tracks beginning and ending respectively so that it sounds less jarring and more like a continuous bit of music slightly, that'd be great. "A Warning from the Sun" has a few seconds of silence on it before the next track, "Ostia," begins, though it's not a matter of the recording cutting out but rather just a few seconds of silence where the track end and begin. Please cut the silence out and recut the tracks so that "A Warning from the Sun" ends with John's intro and "Ostia" begins when the Italian poem begins. There's more silence between "Ostia" and "I Don't Want to Be the One" - again, edit that out, and recut the tracks so that the latter begins when John first says "Sometimes, there are...you do things..." blah blah blah. More silence in between "I Don't Want to Be the One" and "Bang Bang" - edit it out. Recut the tracks so that the latter begins with the piano. More silence between "Bang Bang" and "Are You Shivering?" - edit it out. You don't have to recut these.
In terms of EQ'ing, the mix isn't terrible, but the recording is distant sounding and a bit hissy. Please try to bring the tracks out more, make them sound crisper, clearer, and fuller, please, but be weary of the added hiss. Avoid hiss reduction, if you can, and use it when you must.
He did a great job reducing the hiss. Sadly, nothing could really be done about "Last Rites" and "Warning," but c'est la vie.
